Among its various projects and activities, through the hospital and outreach programme, the Quality Eye Health Care Services are provided to the underserved population of Bihar and adjacent states. These services are provided through well trained outreach team, Hospital’s highly qualified Outpatient department staff, State-of-the art operation theatre managed by highly trained and qualified surgeons and fully established vision centres in 20 remote places of Bihar.
The Cataract surgeries with IOL implantations, Phacoemulsification (Phaco) surgery are done by qualified eye surgeons.
Organizing free eye screening camps and establishment of Vision Centresin different locations in Bihar for the sustainable delivery of Quality Eye Care are carried out through its main initiative “A Crusade against Curable Blindness” as a major Project under – Sri Sai Lions Netralaya’s Mission: ‘Vision for All’.
The Chairperson of Lions of Patna Service Trust always follows the statement given by a prominent humanitarian, Javan (Iranian born American Inventor, invented gas laser 1960), “I don't wish to be everything to everyone, but I would like to be something to someone”. Apart from this, North Bihar comes under the grief of flood every year and the Lions of Patna Service Trust delivers services to flood victims with food, medicines, clothing and Quality Eye Care.All the Social and Humanitarian activities depend on the availability of resources of Lions of Patna Service Trust & Sri Sai Lions Netralaya.
